Jerry Verkerke

Jerry Verkerke has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Jerry started their career at Ford Motor Company in 1986, where they held various engineering and manufacturing positions for over a decade. At Ford, their responsibilities included improving safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.

In 2001, Verkerke joined Visteon as an Operations Manager for the Sterling and Macomb plants. Jerry focused on creating a proactive, safety-minded culture and improving the quality system. Jerry also optimized delivery performance and inventory levels.

From 2004 to 2007, Verkerke served as the AP Director of Supplier Cost & Operations Improvement at Visteon. Jerry implemented methods to reduce product cost and improve operations. Jerry also worked closely with suppliers to develop lean transformation plans and provide support to critical path and distressed suppliers.

In 2008, Verkerke joined Automotive Components Holdings LLC as the AP Director of North American Supplier Quality. Jerry led a large supplier quality organization and developed partnerships with suppliers to drive continuous improvement. Jerry also established supplier performance metrics and administered focus programs to maintain incoming quality.

Most recently, Verkerke worked at Link Engineering Company, where they started as the Director of Operations in 2011 and was later promoted to Vice President of Operations in 2013.

Throughout their career, Verkerke has demonstrated their expertise in operations management, supplier quality, cost reduction, and lean manufacturing.

Jerry Verkerke attended Michigan State University from an unknown start year until 1986, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Jerry later pursued higher education at the University of Detroit Mercy until 1992, obtaining a Master's in Business Administration with a focus on Business Administration.
