Dr. Toinette Gunn currently serves as President & CEO of LINK Unlimited Scholars since September 2022 and holds an adjunct professorship at Governors State University since 2020. Previously, Dr. Gunn was Executive Director of Chicago Debates from August 2018 to September 2022, where the organization focused on empowering students through debate to enhance academic performance and leadership skills. Dr. Gunn also served as Vice President of Programs at the Chicago Scholars Foundation from May 2014 to July 2018 and held several leadership roles including IMPACT Fellow at the Chicago Urban League and University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business, Program Director at Boys Hope Girls Hope, and Executive Director at both The Partnership to Educate & Advance Kids and Student Mentor Partners. Dr. Gunn's academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Education: Counseling from Oakland University, a Master of Arts in Counseling from Oakland University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice & Sociology from Western Michigan University.
