Liangjie Hong

Liangjie Hong is an accomplished engineering leader currently serving as Director of Engineering, AI at LinkedIn, where responsibilities include overseeing the Talent Marketplace AI team and driving significant impact for the LinkedIn Talent business. Previously, Liangjie held the role of Director of Engineering, Data Science and Machine Learning at Etsy, managing data initiatives for a vast e-commerce platform. Earlier experience includes managing research teams at Yahoo Research focused on conversational systems and personalization, as well as various research and internship positions at Lehigh University and Yahoo. Liangjie earned a PhD and a Master's degree in Computer Science from Lehigh University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Beijing University of Chemical Technology.
