Theresa Mershon

Theresa Mershon is a seasoned design professional with extensive experience in product design leadership. Currently serving as Senior Director of Product Design at LinkedIn since August 2022, Theresa oversees Design Foundations, incorporating Design Systems and Trust Design among other teams. Prior to LinkedIn, Theresa held a similar position at Twitter from April 2020 to August 2022, where leadership included the establishment of Design Foundation teams. At Hearst Digital Media, Theresa contributed as Product Design Director from September 2006 to April 2020, spearheading the creation of a product design team that significantly increased platform traffic. Additional roles include guest lecturer at New York University, Art Director at iVillage, and freelance designer with a diverse client portfolio. Theresa's educational background includes a BA from Sarah Lawrence College and further studies at Purchase College, SUNY.
