Jonathan began their academic journey at William Paterson University of New Jersey from 2001 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education. Following this, they pursued their passion for teaching by earning a Master of Arts in Teaching and Learning (MATL) degree from Nova Southeastern University between 2009 and 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Jonathan has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. Jonathan received the "Teacher Of Music Comprehensive K-12" certification from the New Jersey Department of Education in September 2006. Later, in July 2018, they achieved the "School Principal And Supervisor" certification from the same institution. Jonathan has also acquired the "Notary Public" certification from the Morris County Government in December 2017, showcasing their range of skills and knowledge outside of the education sector.
