Patrick McCann

Patrick McCann is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Co-CEO of City Century since January 2023, a collaboration involving over 50 City law firms dedicated to soliciting apprenticeships in London. Patrick founded the Social Welfare Solicitors’ Qualification Fund (SWSQF) in December 2020, which supports over 100 lawyers in qualifying as solicitors. In addition, Patrick holds the position of Director Learning and Global Head of Learning at Linklaters and has been actively involved with the City of London Law Society, serving as Chair of the Training Committee since September 2010. Patrick's previous roles include Global Head of Learning at Herbert Smith Freehills and Head of Learning and Development at Berwin Leighton Paisner. Patrick's educational background includes a Bachelor of Laws from King's College London, a Legal Practice Course from the University of Law London, and a Diploma in German Law from Universität Passau.
