Federico Stirano serves as a Senior Researcher at LINKS Foundation since January 2019, focusing on innovative energy governance and smart grid integration of renewable energy sources. Prior experience includes a role as a Researcher at SiTI - Polytechnic of Turin from January 2007 to December 2018, where Federico developed protocols for energy management and promoted self-consumption approaches in residential and industrial contexts. Earlier research positions include contributions to ISMB, where Federico created a router prototype based on Time Driven Priority technology, and work at Politecnico di Torino involving IP packet classification algorithms. Federico began a career in technology and communications as an External Collaborator at Synchrodine, promoting innovative technologies for latency-sensitive applications. Federico holds a Master Degree in Telecommunication Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, completed in 2002.
