Valeria Figini

Valeria Figini is a Researcher at LINKS Foundation, specializing in the application of telemedicine for chronic diseases such as Inflammatory Bowel Diseases and Cardiovascular Diseases since January 2021. Valeria's work involves European project writing, conducting studies on childhood nutrition and obesity, management of clinical test protocols, machine learning approaches, and analysis of physiological signals. Previously, Valeria completed a Master's thesis on developing an algorithm for a cuff-less blood pressure monitoring device at Politecnico di Torino and gained experience in producing thermo- and pH sensitive hydrogels during an internship. Valeria holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino.
