Bert MacKay

Bert Mackay is a seasoned golf management professional with extensive experience in various roles within the golf industry. Currently serving as General Manager at Links Golf Club since August 2023, Mackay previously held the same position at Castlerock Golf Club from April 2014 to August 2023. Prior to that, Mackay was an Investment Coordinator at Access Energy and demonstrated leadership as Head Golf Professional and Operations Manager at Loch Lomond Golf Club from January 2008 to July 2013. Other notable positions include Assistant Professional at Superstition Mountain in Arizona, Tournament Director, and various roles at Loch Lomond Golf Club, as well as experience as a Driving Range Assistant in Portugal. Mackay holds a BA Hons Degree in Business Management & Marketing from Glasgow Caledonian University, a PGA Professional qualification from Birmingham City University, and an HND in Food & Hospitality Management from Perth College.
