Erik Kastman

Erik Kastman is an experienced machine learning engineer currently serving as a Staff Machine Learning Engineer at LinkSquares since October 2021, following a role as Sr. Machine Learning Engineer. Erik also holds the position of Advisor and Machine Learning Platform Engineer at RallyPoint since February 2020. Previously, Erik was the CTO at SeedLinked from May 2019 to September 2021, and a Research Software Engineer at Harvard University from October 2011 to September 2020, where core lab informatics infrastructure and analysis workflows were created. Additionally, Erik worked as a Bioinformatics Analyst at Tufts University from October 2015 to August 2018, focusing on sequencing data analysis in microbial studies. Early career experience includes roles as a Frontend Developer at 38one and as an Information Processing Consultant and Research Specialist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Erik holds a BS in Biology and Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earned between 2005 and 2006.
