Ian Hughes has extensive experience in graphic design, with their most recent role being as the Lead Graphic Designer at Linnaeus. In this position, they serve as the lead creative for the Linnaeus brand and works with internal and external clients. Ian is responsible for creating concepts for both online and offline assets, including websites, social media advertising, and emails.
Prior to their role at Linnaeus, Ian worked as a Graphic Designer at Plus One Creative, where they provided design services for various company accounts and worked within client brand guidelines while offering creative input.
Ian's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Graphic Designer at APM (formerly PPDG), where they led an in-house creative design service and supported business development. Ian also led a team of designers and mentored junior members to encourage innovative thinking.
Before that, they worked as a Creative Artworker at The Boxroom, where they played a key role in the MG Rover automotive artwork account, oversaw printing processes, and created press advertisements for local and national publications.
Ian Hughes obtained a Higher National Diploma in Design and Visual Communications, General from the University of Birmingham from 2000 to 2002.
