Surapat Ek-In

Surapat Ek-In is a Software Engineer at Lino Biotech AG since February 2023, with previous roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Doctoral Student at EPFL from September 2018 to January 2023. As a Postdoctoral Researcher, Surapat modernized and documented software for read-out ASIC boards and contributed to testing pipeline development, utilizing Docker and GitLab CI. During the doctoral studies, Surapat focused on detector development and data analysis at the LHCb collaboration at CERN, demonstrating expertise in Python and C++, and educating physics graduates. As an Experimental Particle Physicist at CERN, Surapat led data analysis and research strategy to optimize measurements from large datasets, collaborating effectively with international teams. Additional experience includes a freelance data scientist role at Altruistic, and earlier internships and research positions at Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf and CMS@CERN. Surapat holds a PhD and Master's degree in Physics from EPFL and a Bachelor's degree from Mahidol University.
