Övünç Okyay is a seasoned investment professional and entrepreneur with extensive experience in venture building and early-stage investing. Currently serving as Managing Director at LG Capital AG since August 2017, Övünç leads a team focused on identifying and supporting talented founding teams. Co-founding and holding board positions at Liom and Caeli Nova, Övünç contributes to the development of innovative medical technologies and aerospace healthcare applications. Additionally, Övünç has advised The Carlyle Group on portfolio management in Turkey and played key roles at IIG Istanbul Investment Group and Morgan Stanley. Educational credentials include an MBA from Columbia Business School, an M.Sc. from Technische Universität Berlin, and a B.Sc. from Boğaziçi University.
