David Bond

David Bond is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in financial management and operations. Currently serving as the Chief Financial & Operations Officer at Lion Academy Trust since July 2016, David has been instrumental in implementing the PS Financials management system, ensuring compliance with regulations, and leading financial audits. In addition to this role, David is a Director/Trustee at the Givingforce Foundation. David's background includes a valuable tenure as a School Governor for the CPD Federation, where financial governance expertise was provided to the board. Prior experience at Barclays spanned various roles, including Strategy, Governance & Operations Assistant Vice President, where David contributed to citizenship strategies and managed significant community investment budgets. David holds multiple degrees from The Open University and the University of Exeter, including a Master's in Physics.
