Henk Leeuwis has over 35 years of experience in micro/nano system technology. Henk obtained their MSc degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Twente. Henk has held various leadership roles throughout their career, including Vice President of Strategy and Innovation at LioniX International since January 2017. Prior to that, they served as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Innovation at LioniX BV from July 2011 to December 2016, and as Executive Vice President of Marketing and Sales from November 2001 to June 2011. Henk also worked at 3T BV as the Head of the Microsystems Technology Group from January 1988 to October 2001. Henk started their career at the Centre for Micro-Electronics Twente as a Project Manager in Micro Sensors & Actuators from February 1984 to December 1988. Henk's first professional experience was as a Researcher at the University of Twente from February 1980 to February 1984.
Henk Leeuwis has a comprehensive education history spanning from 1966 to 1979. Henk began their academic journey at Corderius College in Amersfoort and completed their HBS-B degree in 1971. Following that, they attended the University of Twente from 1971 to 1979, where they pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Microtechnology.
