Judy Okun

Judy Okun is an experienced Geography Instructor and Course Developer currently teaching at Rowan University since August 2011, where a diverse range of courses including Geography of US/Canada, Cultural Geography, and several online courses have been developed. In addition to the role at Rowan University, Judy has been a Geography Instructor at West Chester University of Pennsylvania since August 2016, mentoring students and completing faculty development courses. As a History/Geo Enrichment Instructor, workshops are presented at Katz Jewish Community Center and Lions Gate CCRC. Judy has also served as a guest lecturer at numerous institutions and led virtual geography workshops for high school homeschool students. Previous experience includes adjunct positions in history and geography at various colleges and serving as a History Education Specialist at Tsongas Industrial History Center. Judy holds a Master of Arts in History from Villanova University and a Master's Degree in Environmental Conservation from New York University.
