Peter Dunstan

Peter Dunstan is an accomplished mining professional with extensive experience in open pit management and engineering. Currently serving as Open Pit Manager at Liontown Resources Limited since November 2022, Peter has held various roles at Dacian Gold Limited, including Project Manager for Redcliffe and Mining Manager for Open Pit. Previous positions include work as Alternative Quarry Manager at Atlas Iron Limited and Senior Mining Engineer at MACA Ltd. With a strong foundation in production engineering and project management, Peter has expertise in drill and blast design, mine planning, and production control. Academic qualifications include an MSc in Mining Engineering from Camborne School of Mines and an MSc in Transportation Planning and Engineering from the University of Southampton, complemented by a BSc in Human and Physical Geography from the University of Reading.
