Avi S.

Avi S. currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel at LionTree, beginning in March 2022, after holding positions as Senior Principal and Special Counsel in the Office of the Chairman & CEO. Prior to LionTree, Avi S. was a Corporate M&A Attorney at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz from September 2013 to February 2022, specializing in domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, with an aggregate value exceeding $300 billion, and providing counsel on securities law, proxy fights, and corporate governance. Earlier experience includes a role as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Deputy Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Israel in 2011. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from Yale Law School (2013) and a Bachelor of Arts in Ethics, Politics, & Economics, graduating Summa Cum Laude from Yale University (2010).
