Matthew Tonge

Matthew Tonge is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in asset management. Currently serving as a Partner and Fund Manager at Liontrust Asset Management PLC since May 2003, Matthew specializes in investing in profitable UK smaller companies with sustainable competitive advantages. Previous roles include Partner and Dealer, where Matthew was instrumental in selecting and implementing an Execution Management System and developing financial forecast models. Prior to Liontrust, Matthew worked in Transaction Management at Barclays Capital Asset Management, focusing on settlement models for loans and handling complex financial transactions. Matthew holds a Double 1st degree in Manufacturing Engineering & Commerce from the University of Birmingham.
