Violeta García has extensive work experience in product development and manufacturing. Violeta currently holds the role of Product Development and Manufacturing Category Director at JLM Manufacturing, Lipari Foods since March 2022. Prior to this, they served as Product Development Director and R&D Program Manager at JLM Manufacturing Group, a division of Lipari Foods, from March 2020 to April 2022. Before joining Lipari Foods, they worked at H-E-B Grocery Co. as the Own Brand: New Products Development from January 2011 to August 2012, where they successfully launched over 20 items. Previous to that, they worked at PEPSICO: Gamesa-Quaker Baking Division as a Researcher responsible for new products and new business platform from January 2002 to September 2003. Violeta also worked at MASECA Group (GRUMA: Baking Division) as the Leader of Research and Development Department from January 2001 to November 2001, and as a Food Technician for new product development from January 2000 to December 2000.
Violeta García completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Food Science and Technology from Tecnológico de Monterrey, which lasted from 1994 to 1997. Additionally, they pursued further education in the field of Applied Baking Science from AIB International, and specialized in Pastries: Chocolate, Confections, and Petit Fours at the San Francisco Institute of Baking in SFO, USA.
