Michael H. Nelson

Michael H. Nelson has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Michael is currently working at IST Management as the Senior Vice President/Partner, Global eDiscovery, a role they assumed in May 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Managing Vice President, Global Sales at IST Management from September 2020 to May 2021.

Before joining IST Management, Michael was involved in various roles at Liquid Litigation Management, Inc. Michael was a Shareholder/Founder and Chief Revenue Officer, Board Member/Shareholder/Founder from May 2018 to March 2020. During their time there, they were responsible for developing and implementing Liquid Lit Manager™, which integrated legal holds, review, case management, and matter and budget management into a single product.

From 2015 to 2018, Michael served as the Executive Vice President, International Business Development/Shareholder at Consilio LLC. Michael played a crucial role in the company's merger with Advanced Discovery and was responsible for managing sales and operations in the East Coast region and overseeing international expansion.

Prior to their tenure at Consilio LLC, Michael worked as the Executive Vice President, East Coast Region at Advanced Discovery from May 2012 to March 2015. During this time, they successfully launched New York and DC offices and achieved significant revenue growth.

Before their involvement in the eDiscovery industry, Michael held positions at TrustPoint International as the Vice President of Litigation Technology from December 2011 to May 2012, SJO Worldwide, LLC as a Director from January 2010 to December 2011, and MetLife as IT AD Legal Affairs Litigation Operations from May 2007 to December 2009.

Michael's early career includes roles such as Managing Director, Northeast Region at Capitol Digital Document Solutions from January 2006 to May 2007, Owner of Marlow & Skinner from January 2005 to May 2007, and Executive Director at The Managing Clerks Office from May 2004 to January 2006.

Michael H. Nelson completed an MBA in Business Administration from Long Island University from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they earned a B.B.S degree in Management of Technology from Farmingdale State College from 1999 to 2004. Michael also obtained an A.S. degree in Business Administration from Farmingdale State College from 1999 to 2002.
