Ohia Thompson is an experienced visual designer and UX engineer, currently serving as an organizer for the Community Team at WordCamp Europe since October 2023, focusing on Kid's Workshop and WordCamp Connect. Thompson has a lengthy tenure at Liquid Spark, Inc. since 2009, creating customized WordPress websites, marketing materials, and social media graphics, while also teaching clients about effective website management. Additionally, Thompson has operated Ohia Design & Development since 2000 and previously contributed to various educational and community-oriented roles, including teaching English as a Second Language in both Spain and the United States, and advocating for survivors at local women's shelters. With an Associate of Arts degree in Graphic Design from the Creative Center, College of Art & Design, acquired between 1998 and 2000, Thompson combines a strong design background with extensive community engagement and outreach experience.
