Jimmy Søe Simonsen

Jimmy Søe Simonsen has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Jimmy Søe is currently the Director and Head of Procurement at Liquid Wind since 2021. Previously, they worked at Hess Corporation from 2017 to 2021, where they held positions as Manager of Global Supply Chain and Senior Supply Chain Specialist. At Hess, they managed the Supply Chain Management function in Denmark, including procurement, materials management, logistics, and accounts payable. Jimmy Søe also led strategic sourcing projects, managed supplier relationships, and implemented regional and global supply chain strategies.

Before Hess, Jimmy worked at DSB as a Category Manager in 2017 and at Ørsted (formerly DONG Energy) from 2011 to 2017. At Ørsted, they held roles as a Senior Contract Manager and Contract Manager, where they focused on establishing and implementing category management for engineering, integrity, and verification services in the North Sea area. Jimmy Søe was responsible for strategic sourcing efforts and leading the tendering process for sourcing projects.

Prior to Ørsted, Jimmy worked at the City of Copenhagen as a Contract Manager from 2008 to 2010, where they managed multiple contracts for the city's major mainframe IT systems. Jimmy Søe also served as the Head of Section and Strategic Buyer at the City of Copenhagen from 2005 to 2006.
