Francois Roestorff has a strong background in marketing and management. Francois started their career at Mercedes-Benz SA in 1991, where they held various roles including Sales Planner, Promotions Coordinator, and Research and Sales Planning Manager. In 1996, they became a Product Manager at Mercedes-Benz SA, responsible for marketing activities of the C-Class and A-Class models. Francois contributed to the Mercedes-Benz globalisation strategy and successfully exported the first C-Class units to Australia. Roestorff then joined Kia Motors South Africa in 2005 as a Marketing Manager, where they played a key role in product development, brand positioning, and marketing strategies, resulting in a significant increase in sales. Francois later worked at DaimlerChrysler, where they held positions such as National Used Car Manager and Customer Experience Intervention - Sales & Marketing Leader. During their time at DaimlerChrysler, they developed the Used Car division and established branded used car programs for various brands. Francois also received extensive training in international marketing and gained practical experience in different departments. Roestorff's most recent experience was at LiquidCapital, where they worked as a Marketing Director and General Manager Marketing.
Francois Roestorff began their education in 1986 at the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria, where they pursued a degree in BCom Marketing. Francois completed this program in 1989. Additionally, from 1986 to 1995, they attended the University of Pretoria/Unisa, where they obtained a B.Com. (Hons) degree with a specialization in Marketing. It is important to note that no field of study was provided for the first degree.
