Bruce Wigness has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Bruce started their career as a Scientist at the University of Minnesota Medical School, Department of Surgery, where they developed a proprietary pump-compatible insulin formulation and assisted in transferring techniques for managing Type-2 diabetes to clinical trials.
Bruce then ventured into entrepreneurship and formed Esox Technology Corporation, where they manufactured and distributed implantable drug pumps. During their time there, they developed an ISO/FDA compliant Quality System and managed the R&D effort for various medical devices.
Bruce later founded Esox R&D, Inc. and served as the President. In this role, they offered project management services, including quality planning, risk assessment, and design verification/validation protocols. Bruce worked on projects involving implantable drug infusion pumps and dynamic oximetry systems.
Bruce also has experience in the medical device industry, working as a Principal/Senior Design Quality Engineer at St. Jude Medical. Here, they led a Quality Team responsible for various aspects of quality planning and assurance in intracardiac device development projects.
Most recently, Bruce joined Lite Run Inc. as the Chief Product Officer.
