Leah Hauge

Leah is the Northstar Digital Literacy Curriculum Manager. She joined Literacy Minnesota in 2008. Leah has experience teaching ESL to all levels and ages, from Kindergarten to adult learners. She also has experience in curriculum development, volunteer coordination, team leadership, and project planning. Her experience as an AmeriCorps volunteer in a K-3 reading program sparked her initial interest in teaching and advocating for literacy. Leah has a B.A.in Anthropology and International Studies from the University of Minnesota Duluth, and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Hamline University. She holds a K-12 ESL teaching license. Outside of work, she enjoys reading aloud with her family and taking care of her chickens.
