Lori Jurjovec

Lori Jurjovec is an experienced literacy specialist with a strong background in instruction and curriculum development. Currently serving at Literacy Resources since September 2021, Lori previously worked as a dyslexia instructor at The Literacy Ladder from June 2017 to August 2021, where individualized instructional programs were created based on Orton-Gillingham principles. Earlier experience includes teaching 5th grade in the Naperville Community Unit School District 203 from November 2002 to June 2012, where lesson plans aligned with district standards were developed. Lori holds a Certified Orton Gillingham Instructor and Dyslexia Certificate from the Dyslexia Training Institute, a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Illinois State University.
