Arūnas Jurgelaitis

Arūnas Jurgelaitis has extensive experience in procurement, with their most recent position being Head of Procurement at Litgrid AB since November 2019. Arūnas is responsible for building and leading a high-performing procurement team, implementing procurement strategies to synchronize Lithuania's electricity grid with European networks, and achieving the best value for money through negotiations. Prior to this, they held the same position at UAB Vilniaus vandenys from April 2016 to November 2019, where they successfully managed procurement processes and focused on contract management and strategic sourcing. Arūnas also has experience as the Head of Network Infrastructure Procurement Division at UAB Verslo aptarnavimo centras from October 2014 to August 2015, where they organized and managed procurement processes, ensuring cost management and compliance with legislation. From January 2014 to October 2014, they worked as the Head of Document Management Group at LESTO AB, where they established and supervised procurement processes and executed the transfer to an electronic interface. Previously, from April 2011 to January 2014, they served as the Senior Procurement Manager at LESTO, where they implemented procurement reforms and made effective public procurement decisions.

Arūnas Jurgelaitis has a Bachelor's degree in Management and Business Administration from Vilnius University, which they obtained in 2011. Arūnas continued their education at Vilnius University and earned a Master's degree in European Economic Studies from 2011 to 2013. From 2016 to 2019, they pursued an Executive Master of Management degree at both BI Norwegian Business School and ISM University of Management and Economics, specializing in Business Process Management, Strategic Management, and Applied Organizational Psychology. In addition to their formal education, Arūnas has obtained certifications in various areas such as Logistics Innovations in SAP S/4HANA, CIPS Practitioner Corporate Award, and Sustainable Business Strategy.
