Tom Nessen

Tom Nessen is an accomplished sales and engineering professional with extensive experience in the technology and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as Head of Sales at Tignis since May 2024, Tom is also an advisor at StartProto. Previously, Tom held the position of Sales Director at MachineMetrics, focusing on industrial data platforms, and served as General Manager of the DemandCaster Business Unit at Plex Systems, where Tom built a SaaS sales team and implemented effective sales processes. Tom's career includes various roles at Plex Systems, Infor Global Solutions, The S3 Group, Radial Inc., Manhattan Associates, and a cooperative education position at Shaw Industries. Tom earned a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
