Matthew Hartsock has a diverse work experience in facilities services and management. Matthew started their career as an HVAC/R technician at Sears Home Services in 1995 and worked there until 2003. From 2003 to 2006, they worked as a Senior HVAC technician at Selvey Heating & Cooling. In 2006, they joined St Vincent Carmel Hospital as a Plant Operator and Mechanic, a position they held until 2015. Matthew then worked at Medxcel Facilities Management as a Facilities Manager at St. Vincent Frankfort Hospital from 2015 to 2017, and later as the Facilities Manager from 2017 to 2019. From 2019 to 2022, they worked at Crothall Healthcare, first as the Director of Facilities and then as the Director of Plant Operations. Currently, Matthew is serving as the Director of Facilities Services at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center from September 2022.
Matthew Hartsock, CHFM, CHOP-B, obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan University from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's Degree in electronics technology from Ivy Tech Community College from 1991 to 1994. Matthew Hartsock has also acquired several additional certifications throughout their career, including "Certified Healthcare Emergency Power Professional" from the Motor and Generator Institute (MGI) in June 2022, "ASHE: Healthcare Facility Manager Comprehensive Energy Management" from the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE) in March 2017, "Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager" from the American Hospital Association in July 2015, "Stationary Engineer" from the National Association of Power Engineers in 2007, and "Certified Healthcare Operations Professional" from DNV GL in July 2020.
