Donna Thompson

Donna Thompson is a seasoned behavioral health professional with extensive experience in various counseling roles. Currently serving as a Behavioral Health Counselor at Little River Medical Center since January 2015, Donna has previously held significant positions such as Director of Outpatient Services at Wilmington Treatment Center from January 2007 to September 2014, and Team Lead-Clinical Counselor at Waccamaw Mental Health, focusing on child and adolescent services from September 1999 to May 2007. Donna's career also includes part-time work as a Women's Services Counselor at Shepherd Center from July 1998 to April 2007 and as a Clinical Counselor at Shoreline Behavioral Health Services from September 1995 to August 1999. Academically, Donna holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, along with an Associate of Arts from St. Petersburg College.
