Stephanie Gutierrez-Munguia

Stephanie Gutierrez-Munguia is an experienced educator currently serving as a Dual Language Teacher Specialist and Special Education Teacher at Prince George's County Public Schools since August 2017. In this role, Stephanie provides instruction and case management for high school students with intellectual disabilities, develops and monitors IEPs, and assesses student skills while participating in professional development. Additionally, Stephanie works as an After School Enrichment Teacher at Little Scholars and has a background in web production and data journalism with previous positions at Money Map Press, Capital News Service, and USA TODAY. Stephanie holds a Master's degree in Leadership in Teaching with a focus on Special Education from Notre Dame of Maryland University, a Master of Journalism from the University of Maryland, and a Bachelor of Mass Communications and Sociology from Towson University.
