Irwin Law

Irwin Law has a diverse work experience in various industries. Irwin started in 2005 as an Electrical Engineering Design Intern at Cyberonics, where they provided technical support and surgical assistance for implantations. Irwin then became a Clinical Engineer, educating and training physicians on vagus nerve stimulation therapy.

In 2006, Irwin joined St. Jude Medical as a Senior Clinical Systems Engineer, leading research technology and new product development programs. Irwin focused on implantable medical devices, remote care, and RF products, providing technical leadership and overseeing system verification and validation testing.

In 2013, Irwin moved to Beckman Coulter as a Senior Systems Engineer, managing system definition, concept design, and user-centered design. Irwin conducted usability studies and applied human factors techniques to optimize user workflows. Irwin also led the architecture concepting process for next-generation diagnostic systems.

Since 2014, Irwin has been working at LivaNova, where they started as a Senior Systems Engineer and then became the Principal Systems Engineer and UX/UI Design Lead. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Product UI/UX Design.

Irwin Law completed a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering at Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering from 1999 to 2003. Subsequently, from 2004 to 2005, Irwin Law pursued a Masters in Electrical Engineering at Rice University.
