Steven Nikolidakis has a diverse work experience. Steven is currently working as a Senior Director - Data Insights at LivCor, a Blackstone Portfolio Company, starting from July 2023. Previously, they held the position of Director - Data Insights, Strategy & Planning at the same company from January 2022 to July 2023.
Prior to their current role, Steven worked at Beam Living (a Blackstone Portfolio Company) where they held various positions. Steven started as a Senior Analyst from January 2017 to September 2018, where they led a Data Warehouse project and automated reports. Steven then became a Manager, Strategy, Planning & Analytics from October 2018 to January 2020. Finally, they were promoted to Director, Strategy, Planning & Analytics from January 2020 to January 2022. In this role, they were responsible for building data models, initiating data governance projects, and providing analytical support to different departments.
Before their tenure at Beam Living, Steven co-founded eventGlu in 2014, a startup focused on providing event venues with algorithms and data analytics. Steven served as a Co-Founder until December 2021, where they created a marketplace for event-goers to book packages online. Steven was also invited to YCombinator in San Francisco for interviews.
Steven also worked as a Senior Analyst, Business Analytics at StuyTown - Stuyvesant Town/Peter Cooper Village from March 2015 to December 2016. Prior to that, they were a Financial Analyst, Business Analytics at COMPASSROCK REAL ESTATE 2.0 LLC from May 2012 to March 2015.
To begin their career, Steven worked as a Materials Lab Assistant at Universidad Pontificia Comillas from May 2011 to July 2011, where they conducted tests on bone cements and analyzed aluminum bar specimens.
Steven Nikolidakis completed their education at three different institutions. Steven started with their high school education at The Bronx High School of Science from 2004 to 2008. Steven then pursued their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Civil Engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, attending from 2008 to 2012. Afterward, they enrolled at New York University - Polytechnic School of Engineering and obtained their Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Biomedical Engineering from 2012 to 2015.
