James Barrett

James Barrett currently serves as the Director of Partnerships at Live Group since November 2024. Previously, James held the position of Head of Sponsorship for Event Programmes at the United Nations backed Principles for Responsible Investment from March 2016 to October 2024, where responsibilities included reporting to the COO on annual sponsorship plans and overseeing a support team. Earlier roles include Head of Worldwide Centenary Celebrations at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and Head of Events at the Centre for Economic and Social Inclusion, contributing to a broad portfolio of national and international events. James began career as Conference & Events Manager at the British Contact Lens Association and as Information & Events Officer at Red Kite Learning. James holds a BA in Geography and Planning Studies from Oxford Brookes University and completed A Levels in Geography, English Literature, Business Studies, and General Studies at Peter Symonds College, Winchester.
