Julian Petford

Julian Petford is a Software Developer at LIVE IT Group, a position held since December 2019. Previously, Julian co-supervised a Senior Honours undergraduate student at the University of St Andrews from September 2017 to April 2018, assisting with research and experimental design related to the ASPECTA Toolkit. Additional experience includes tutoring, marking, and demonstrating for undergraduate students at the University of St Andrews during 2015-2016. Julian also contributed to a touchscreen tabletop exhibit for the St Andrews University Library Special Collections in 2013, designed a virtual environment for the Brora Saltpans archaeological site in 2012 with the SCAPE Trust, and served as a chaperone for Youth Music Theatre Scotland in 2009. Julian holds a PhD in Computer Science and a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science, both from the University of St Andrews.
