W. Eric Webostad

Eric, co-founder and Chief-of-Staff of LiVeritas Biosciences, is an experienced intellectual property attorney having advised multibillion dollar corporations to startups either as in-house or outside counsel. His experience covers a wide variety of domestic and international transactions. He has prepared and prosecuted to issuance numerous patents including in the fields of semiconductors, artificial intelligence applications, and telecommunications, among others. He has been principally involved with legal matters associated with patent portfolio development and licensing.

Eric holds a Juris Doctor from Santa Clara University School of Law and a BSEE from the University of California at Irvine. He is licensed to practice law in California and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. When not reading agreements, Eric enjoys playing tennis, though not particularly well.
