Doug Laird

Doug Laird has a long and varied work history. Doug began their career in 2005 as an Associate- Oil and Gas Investment banking at CIBC World Markets. In 2006, they moved to Royal Bank of Canada as Director Commodity Sales and Trading. Doug then joined FirstEnergy Capital in 2010 as Managing Director - Institutional Equity Sales. In 2016, they joined GMP FirstEnergy as Managing Director Institutional Sales. In 2019, they moved to ICM Asset Management as Managing Director. Currently, they are Chief Operating Officer and Board Member at Livestock Water Recycling.

Doug Laird holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The University of Western Ontario and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from Mount Allison University.
