Laurent Schaffner is a highly experienced Principal Engineer at Livestorm, specializing in system architecture and technical research since June 2018, following roles as Head of Back-end Development and Lead Software Engineer in the company. Previously, Laurent held key engineering positions at Digpanda GmbH as Lead Full Stack Engineer, Bordeaux in Box as Chairman and Lead Back-end Developer, and various technical roles at Virtual Safety Inc & Gotham Partners LLC. Laurent began a career as a freelancer, gaining extensive expertise in Ruby on Rails, NodeJS, Laravel, JavaScript, CSS, databases, API construction, and system administration. Laurent has also held managerial roles, including Contract Manager at Agence Volt and General Manager at iDrink Livraison. Laurent holds a Licence in Communication and Media Studies from Bordeaux 3.
