Uma Avantsa

Uma Avantsa has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Uma started their career as an Engineer at CMC LTD in 1997, where they focused on automating and streamlining port operations. In 2001, they worked as an Analyst at Orbitech Solutions Ltd, where they operated the Citibank Treasury Convergence System. From 2007 to 2008, Uma held positions as a Project Intern at Covansys Global Technology Services and a Consultant at Mango Technologies Pvt. Ltd. Uma then transitioned into a role as a Senior Manager at YES Bank Ltd in 2008. In the same year, they co-founded hubVirt Software Solutions, a company that offered business solutions and software as a service to customers. In 2011, Uma took on the role of a Contributing Editor at Trade Briefs before joining Livestream as the Chief Operating Officer. Throughout their career, Uma has demonstrated versatility and expertise in various areas, including finance, project management, and entrepreneurship.

Uma Avantsa pursued their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, which they completed from 1994 to 1997. Later on, they obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from SCDL, Pune, during the years 2002 to 2005. Uma then enrolled at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore for the Post Graduate Programme, PGDM, which they completed from 2006 to 2008.
