Dennis Smith

Dennis Smith is a seasoned professional with a career spanning several decades in engineering and community service. As President and CEO of DDS ENGINEERING, PLLC since 1973, Dennis leads the oldest and largest engineering firm in the Bowling Green area, offering a wide range of services including Civil and Geotechnical Engineering. Additionally, Dennis has held influential roles at Western Kentucky University, including Chairman of the Civil Engineering Advisory Board and Advisory Board Member for the Engineering Department. In the community, Dennis served as Past Chairman of the Church Campus Expansion Building Committee at Living Hope Baptist Church, overseeing a significant expansion project. Dennis has also contributed to the Kentucky State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors as Board Member Emeritus and Past Chairman, and has leadership experience with the Colonial States Boards of Surveyor Registration as Past President. Educationally, Dennis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Education from Western Kentucky University.
