Renee Hansen's work experience begins with their current role as a Senior Leader in People + Culture at livingHR, Inc. Renee joined the company in November 2021 and is responsible for driving employee engagement and business results through a people-first approach. Prior to this, Renee held various positions at Flexential, starting as the Director of Learning and Development in June 2019 and progressing to Senior Director of People & Culture. Renee worked at Duke Energy Corporation from November 2016 to October 2019, holding roles such as Director of Employee Engagement & Enablement and Director of HR Business Partners. Renee's earliest work experience comes from Piedmont Natural Gas, where they served as the Manager of Organizational Effectiveness and Culture from June 2008 to October 2016.

Renee Hansen pursued their education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Industrial Relations. Following their undergraduate studies, Renee enrolled at North Carolina State University to further their academic qualifications. There, they obtained both a Master of Science and a Ph.D. degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
