순용 정

순용 정 has extensive professional experience in the field of robotics and software development. 순용 is currently serving as the Head of the Robot Development Department at LivsMed since October 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as the Director of Software Development at Lavisus from August 2020 to September 2021, where they led a team focused on mobile security solutions. From June 2019 to June 2020, they held the position of Director of Product Development at Neuromeka. 순용 also worked as the Director of SW Development HQ at Neuromeka from November 2018 to May 2019. Before joining Neuromeka, they served as a Principal Software Engineer and SW Lab Lead at SEMES from September 2016 to October 2018. Prior to that, they held the role of Principal Engineer at Samsung Heavy Industries from June 2011 to August 2016, where they led projects related to underwater robot control and shipyard automation. 순용 also developed LNG container ship energy process simulation software. 순용 began their career as a Research Fellow at the Korea Ocean Research & Development Institute from February 2010 to February 2011, where they focused on developing a robotic software platform for intelligent underwater robots and research on control and signal processing algorithms. 순용 also worked as a Senior Engineer at Samsung Electronics from March 2005 to February 2010.

순용 정's education history begins with a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from Pohang University of Science and Technology, which they obtained from 1994 to 1998. 순용 then pursued a Master's degree in the same field at the same university from 1998 to 2000. Finally, they completed their academic journey by earning a Ph.D in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from Pohang University of Science and Technology, spanning from 2000 to 2005.
