John Lord

Since entering the cannabis industry 10 years ago, John has been a proactive member of the cannabis business community including his recent appointment to Chairman of the Cannabis Trade Federation. He has been instrumental in guiding the industry towards competent regulation and educating the public on responsible consumption, including testifying for the U.S. Senate Banking Committee regarding regulations around banking in the cannabis industry, in support of the SAFE Banking Act.

John brings over 30 years of business management experience from the highly regulated industries of dairy farming and baby goods manufacturing. Prior to LivWell, John created a successful baby products company that sold products to major retailers, including Walmart. After selling the company, John was drawn to the cannabis industry by the opportunity to apply his business acumen to a fledgling industry. John has positioned LivWell at the forefront of the industry, blending cannabis culture with solid business principles. His focus on strategic direction, acquisition, growth, and financial planning propelled LivWell to become an industry leader recognized for setting the standard.
