Andrew Lockemer, C.S.P.

Andrew Lockemer, C.S.P. has a diverse work experience spanning over 13 years. Andrew is currently working at LJB Inc. as a Project Manager / Senior Consultant, specializing in fall protection design and consultation. In this role, they improve safety conditions and ensures OSHA compliance for clients across various industries. Andrew also supervises a fall protection team.

Before joining LJB Inc., Andrew worked as an Assistant Project Manager / Senior Safety Specialist at the same company, where they were responsible for project management, from sales lead to project delivery. Prior to that, they worked as a Structural Engineer / Safety Specialist.

Earlier in their career, Andrew gained experience as an Assistant Track Supervisor at Norfolk Southern Corporation, where they managed track inspection and repairs, collaborated with cross-functional teams, and conducted emergency track inspections. Andrew also had an Engineering Internship in Strategic Business Development at State Road & Tollway Authority and worked as a Research Assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology.

Andrew's work experience also includes an internship at FTI Consulting, where they were part of the Construction Solutions Group.

Andrew Lockemer, C.S.P. completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology from 2009 to 2012. Prior to that, they attended Miami University from 2000 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching.

In terms of additional certifications, Andrew Lockemer earned the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals in June 2019. Andrew also obtained the Associate Safety Professional (ASP) certification from the same institution in June 2018.

Additionally, Andrew Lockemer holds various certifications related to safety and engineering. These include the OSHA Qualified Person and OSHA Competent Person certifications obtained from LJB Inc. in July 2017 and July 2016, respectively. Andrew also obtained the FRA Certification from the Federal Railroad Administration in February 2014. Furthermore, they hold an Engineer In-Training (E.I.T.) certification from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES) earned in May 2012.

Lastly, Andrew Lockemer has completed the OSHA 30-hour training from the OSHA Safety Training Institute in May 2011 and has obtained the Adult First Aid/CPR/AED certification from the American Red Cross in April 2019.
