Kim Messer has extensive work experience in marketing and sales coordination. Kim started their career in 1999 at LJB Inc. as a Sales/Marketing Intern and quickly moved up to become a Sales/Marketing Coordinator for the Safety division. In this role, they were responsible for planning and authoring media and marketing communications, including advertising, press relations, newsletters, award submittals, and website content. Kim also had a background in journalism, which allowed their to effectively communicate technical content and help technical professionals improve their communication skills. In 2013, they transitioned to the role of Corporate Marketing Manager at LJB Inc., where they supported the firm's strategic initiatives, conducted market research, developed messaging, and worked closely with internal sales teams to develop and maintain market plans. In 2010, Kim joined the International Society for Fall Protection as an Administrator.
Kim Messer attended the University of Dayton from 1997 to 2001, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication. In 2013 and 2014, they obtained an Emerging Leader certificate from the University of Dayton Center for Leadership. Additionally, they received certifications such as Competent Leader and Competent Communicator from Toastmasters International in 2012 and 2011, respectively.
