David Mercer

David Mercer is an experienced mechanical designer and business owner with a diverse background in engineering and design. Since July 2016, David has led Crazy Daves Racing Designs LLC as the owner, specializing in the manufacturing of RC race cars. Alongside this venture, David has served as a Senior Mechanical Designer at LJS Solutions LLC since August 2019. Previous positions include Senior Draftsman at Dominion, and mechanical design roles at KBR, Inc. and US Bridge. David's engineering expertise also encompasses work as a Senior Mechanical Designer at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where 3D models of lab equipment were created, and as a Senior Engineering Tech at Bloom Engineering, focusing on the design of 3D models of burners. David holds a degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design from West Virginia Business College-Clarksburg, completed between 1989 and 1991.
