Shirin Moradi has extensive work experience in the field of plant research and education. Shirin is currently working as a Plant researcher at Ljusgårda AB since February 2023. Previously, they worked as a Research Assistant at Ljusgårda AB from December 2022 to February 2023. Prior to that, they were an Assistant Professor at the University of Tehran from January 2022 to November 2022. Shirin also served as a PHD Student at the University of Tehran from September 2016 to December 2021. Shirin Moradi worked as a Teacher at the Academic Center for Education, Culture, and Research (جهاد دانشگاهی) from January 2019 to December 2021. Shirin was the Executive Vice President of the project at Iran's National Elites Foundation (بنیاد ملی نخبگان) from January 2021 to September 2021. Shirin gained experience as a Guest Researcher at the Department of Plant and Environmental Sciences, University of Copenhagen from June 2020 to July 2021. Shirin worked as a Research Assistant at Iran National Science Foundation from June 2015 to December 2017. Shirin Moradi also served as a Research And Teaching Assistant at Agricultural Research, Education and Extension Organization (AREEO) from July 2016 to February 2017. Shirin started their career as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Tehran from September 2013 to August 2015.
Shirin Moradi's education history is as follows:
From 2007 to 2011, they attended the University of Tehran and earned a Bachelor's degree in Horticultural Science.
Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Agricultural and Horticultural Plant Breeding from the University of Tehran, which they completed from 2011 to 2015.
Later, they went on to study at the University of Tehran again, completing their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Horticultural Science from 2017 to 2021.
In addition to their PhD program, they also engaged in a visiting researcher opportunity at the Department of Food and Resource Economics, University of Copenhagen, from 2020 to 2021, studying Molecular Biology as part of their PhD program.
