Marc Richards

Marc Richards has a strong background in operations and process improvement. Marc started their career at Nightfreight GB Ltd as a Transport Operations Manager, where they were responsible for operational control, payroll management, and fleet management. Marc then moved on to Euro Car Parts Ltd, where they held roles as an Operations Manager and later as an Operational Support Manager. In these positions, they managed branch staff, coordinated inventory planning and control, and oversaw compliance with business processes. Currently, Marc is working at LKQ Corporation as the Director of Strategic Program Management, where they lead a team in identifying waste and creating improvements using LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies. Marc has also overseen the growth and engagement of their online training platform and introduced 3D warehouse mapping to show inefficiencies.

Marc Richards completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Studies with Economics from The Open University in 2019. Marc also attended Wymondham College from 2001 to 2007, where they completed their high school education, obtaining GCSE & A-Levels. Marc has since pursued various certifications, including Six Sigma Black Belt (CSSBB) from SixSigma.us in 2018, Certificate in International Auditing from ACCA in 2013, Certificate of Professional Competence from Pearson in 2011, and Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate from Microsoft in 2022. Marc is currently enrolled in online courses at Harvard Business School, studying Strategy Execution, Disruptive Strategy, and Business Strategy, set to complete in 2023.
