Emma Mendez

Emma is a proud Albertan committed to volunteering for many causes outside the scope of her role in human resources. Over the last 4.5 years she has served as a Director and Vice President for Canada Place Child Care Society as a steward of the organization lending her HR expertise when needed. Emma also volunteers with an organization called DirectHER – a women-led not-for-profit dedicated to empowering Albertans with the tools and support necessary to serve on boards. Emma is passionate about education, diversity of thought, and striking the right balance between employer and employee advocacy.

She is a graduate of MacEwan University and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Business, a Diploma in Management Studies, and a certificate in Executive Compensation. A compensation nerd at heart, Emma brings numbers and analytics into everything she does, seeing the value of moving toward data driven decision making.
